Cortina D'Ampezzo

The village has nearly 7,000 inhabitants and it is located at 1224m. a.s.l.

Some of the surrounding peaks are higher than 3000m:
Tofàna 3243m, Cristallo 3218m, Sorapìs 3205m.

Geographically it is included in the Belluno province and it is 72 km. from the town of Belluno. It is located between Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige regions, the border between the two regions is at Cimabanche Pass (1530m.) 13 km. from Cortina.

Climbing

The climbing school courses organised by Cortina’s Alpine Guides teach and introduce beginners or those with a passion already more of the fantastic world of climbing. Instruction takes place in total safety on the most beautiful walls of the area. Climbing arouses wonderful sensations, and the course will attempt to to give you the grounding know-how for becoming a good future climber.

Adults and teenagers have attended our courses for many years, and it has been an unforgettable experience for everybody.

The Alpine Guide Group organises rock climbing courses for adults in three different levels: the Basis Course of two days, the Advanced Course (three days) and a of four-day Climbing Camp.

The children’s courses are divided into: Climbing is fun, Mini Climbing Course and Sports Climbing. All these levels last three days and begin on Mondays or Thursdays.

Enrolments at the Alpine Guide Office at least one day before the beginning of the course.

Your bike will allow you to see Cortina in all its beauty in a completely different and exciting way.

Whether it's just to get closer to nature or the thrill of the downhill run, the bicycle will give you a new sense of freedom in a new and unique concept, the Bike Resort.

Cortina d'Ampezzo boasts a great number of trails and paths. Some of them have been suitably modified and have become excellent and safe mountain bike routes, other new routes have been made following the natural contours of the area, enhancing riding and fun.

The 6 Tours of the Passes, forming a circular itinerary around Cortina, is an unforgettable experience. Cyclists do a different tour every day for 6 days, with start and finish in Cortina, for a total of 700km across the passes of Giro d’Italia, in some of the most magical UNESCO World Heritage landscapes.

Adrenalin Park

An obstacle course suspended in the tree-tops suitable for children, teens and adults, witha network of crossings, pulleys, bridges and cables in a safe and nature friendly enviroment. A fun outdoor activity with focus on movement, concentrationa nd coordination.
You can choose from six different routes, ranging from easy to very challenging, allowing you to test your limits or compete within you group.
Try a different way to live the mountain!
All safety equipment is supplied, including harness, pulleys, helmet, and gloves, as well as an intial briefing on the use of the safety devices.
NEW: Minimum height 130cm.
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Junior Playground

Located next to the adventure park is an adventure playground created for a younger audience, with maximum height 140cm. It contains a safe network of crossings, slides, barrels, ladders, small bridges, mattresses, and pulleys, suspended at limited height above the ground.

Canyoning

Minimum age 15 years, by appointment.
